Starting as a journalist being an alumni of Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, Tarit branched into election research. He has a rich work experience having worked with a number of media agencies as a consultant while simultaneously conducting election research for various clients since 1998. As an election analyst with a deep understanding of the Indian electoral process, especially with data crunching and forecasting, his expertise includes survey design, fieldwork monitoring and qualitative evaluation of the constituency, bi-lingual documentation and business development.
